Condition Effect
Blinded –2 AC, denied Dex bonus to AC, half speed, –4 Search, -4 most Str and Dex; actions that rely on vision fail; opponents have total concealment
Confused actions are determined by rolling d% at the beginning of its turn; attackers gain no special advantage when attacking a confused creature
Dazed can take no actions
Dazzled –1 attack/Search/Spot
Deafened –4 initiative, 20% spell failure for spells with verbal components
Entangled –2 attack, –4 Dex; casting requires Concentration check (DC 15 + the spell’s level)
Exhausted no run or charge, –6 Str/Dex, half speed; 1 hour complete rest upgrades to fatigued
Fatigued no run or charge, –2 Str/Dex; anything that would normally cause fatigue causes a fatigued creature to become exhausted; 8 hours complete rest fixes
Flat-Footed denied Dex bonus to AC, can’t make attacks of opportunity
Helpless paralyzed, held, bound, sleeping, unconscious, etc; Dexterity 0, –4 AC vs melee
Nauseated only action is a single move action
Prone –4 melee, can’t use ranged (except crossbows and shuriken), +4 AC vs ranged,
–4 AC vs melee; standing up is move action, provokes AoO
Staggered when nonlethal damage = current hit points; can take single move or standard action
each round
Stunned drops everything, can’t take actions, –2 AC, denied Dex bonus to AC
Turned flees 10 rounds by best & fastest means available; if it can’t flee, it cowers
